The very first thing I’m going to talk to you about is
something that will make or break your IM career.

(I found this out myself the hard way)

So you can learn by my mistakes.

If there is one thing which you need to do as soon as you
possibly can and that is:

Focus.

Yep, F.O.C.U.S

Without focus you will simply just not see hardly any success.

Back when I was starting out in 2008 I used to work on so
many things during the week and dilute my time amongst
so many different things that it was impossible for me to
succeed at anything online.

One day I learned about niche marketing, the next day it
was cpa, then twitter, then list building, then SEO etc etc.

This went on for many months.

In fact I did this for a couple of years and wasted
thousands of dollars in the process.

Until one day.

I had enough.

I was sick to death of all the bs and not seeing results
so I decided to take some advice from a blog that I read
online which said:

"find one do-able method and work on that method until you
see results and money"

It was that simple.

So…if you’re currently feeling now like I was back in
2008 then I suggest you do what I did and just find one
do-able method and hammer it until you see results.

You need to stop wasting time working on multiple things
(especially at the start) and then just focus on one thing
at a time until you see results just like what I did.

Believe me…this is the best thing you will EVER do.

I guess you’re wondering what I focused on in order to
see results??

Well ok I will tell you.

Back in 2008 things were slightly different.

It was all about SEO back then because it was so easy to
rank basic websites.

What I did was learn everything I could about SEO, link
building and building highly optimized wordpress blogs.

I then started to build lots of niche sites and monetized
them with amazon, adsense and clickbank products.

This was my main business model for over 18 months.

It worked well and I was able to build up an income to
around $100 per day.

Things were going well but in November 2011 I decided to sell
up.

Yep I decided to sell most of my niche sites and then
focus on more stable income models such as product creation
and list building.

(but that’s all for another day)

The main thing to take away from my story is choose
a model, stick with it until you’re successful.

Doing this is what really helped me to get where I am today
because I was able to sell most of my niche sites for around
$8k and then used that income to fund my newer projects
and help me to build a much more stable business.

That’s my story.

(Oh and in case you’re wondering, that model is no where
near as effective any more because of all the idiots over at
google, there are much better ways now where you don’t
have to rely on google or anything)

Take from it what you can to help your own current situation.
