The (quirky) personality trait that may determine your success…

I found something interesting yesterday.

From a study carried out by Angela Duckworth a very well
known and respected Psychologist.

Angela left a high flying job in consulting and then took
a job teaching math to children and did this for many years.

What she found was incredible.

Angela quickly realized that IQ wasn’t the only thing that
separated her brightest students from the ones that
struggled.

There was something more.

It’s something so simple you have probably never even
considered it as being so important.

G.R.I.T

Yes it’s Grit.

Angela is 100% convinced that Grit is the predictor of
success.

Here are a few of her quotes

"Grit is sticking with your future — day in, day out, not
just for the week, not just for the month, but for
years — and working really hard to make that future
a reality."

"Grit is living life like it’s a marathon, not a sprint."

"There are many talented individuals who simply do not

to measures of talent."

Hell no…

Even with people with lots of grit that will stop at nothing
still fail sometimes.

What you do have to do though is get some grit between
your teeth and take action.

I mean SERIOUS grit, not just wishful thinking…

Then go out there and get what you want.

So my advice….

Don’t wait till tomorrow.

Take constant action every day.

Even if it’s only something small.

I realize it’s easy for anyone to understand the concept
of "taking action." I also realize that THE ACTUAL STEPS to
take can be a lot more complicated.
