you’re SPOILED and it’s my FAULT… 

Seriously. 

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is not a “black and white”  thing, it’s not easy and
those who have mastered it are artists (in my mind).

SEO is an ART, there is not a single way to do things.

It is a constant dance with Google to test, track data, adjust.. and most of all have PATIENCE. 

I say this all the time, I am going to say it again (and on this call later today I will more than likely say it AGAIN)

“SEO is a patience man’s game” 

There is no jackpot, or lottery. No fast paydays, and/or push button money. 

Many of you that know my “speed ranking” techniques with YouTube Videos and Hangouts
have become “spoiled”..

Think about it, have you recently been working on ranking videos or hangouts… they do the “google dance” and you are

INSTANTLY freaking out? Only to see it come strong back into the first page? 

Or upset that it took a measly 2 days to get to the first page of Google and not 1? 

How much time are you truly putting into ranking these videos? Minutes? Not much right? 

See… you are SPOILED! 

It is my fault, and I take responsibility for this one guys. Understanding the WHY all of this works first,
by learning and ranking traditional web sites and pages first, you would become …

…I suppose “wiser” when it comes to SEO (?).  

“Traditional” SEO is a much more tedious process…

-buy a domain
-set up on hosting
-generate content
-install wordpress
-add plugins
-remove plugins
-optimize on page, alt tags, etc
-add images/name them keywords
-etc, etc etc 

Hell, you can chalk up 2-3 business days just to get a full site ready to go, easy!

Then to start the ranking process it becomes:

“OK, now I am in the top 100, woot!”  …. a week or two later “Page 3, woohoo!” …. right? 

Now, it’s just fire up your web cam or upload a video, optimize it in a few minutes, copy and paste that link to Onlywire,
or some automation tools, sit back and watch your rankings! 

I want to remind you to be patient and really commit to doing SEO if you are going to do it. 

SEO is not an opportunity, it is an art.
